Why work with us?
Because we do all of our analysis with proprietary data and algorithms on the zip code level. Most data you can get right now is either on the county level, on the zip code level but outdated, or does not have historical coverage. Our proprietary big data goes back more than 25 years. We combine it with publicly available sources to deliver algorithm driven analysis that is then interpreted for you by Ph. D. economists. This approach allows us to provide considerable geographic and sectoral detail and to be cost competitive at the same time.

With this data, we answer your four most basic questions:

1) Which sectors do well in our region? Which sectors need support?

a. Our structural economic analysis gives you an overview by sector of your competitive position as a region, what your growth and income potentials are, and how well you are positioned to weather recessions.

Structural Economic Analysis $2,950
Update on our structural economic analysis (within 36 month of original order) $1,495

b. Our detailed industry and demographic analysis provides insights into your wage, occupation, and industry structure by demographic characteristics. This report can be tailored to your needs. Please contact us! We’d be happy to share what we can do for you.

2) What jobs are bound to grow, which ones are at risk? What needs to be done to keep the jobs that are here?

a. More than 50% of all current jobs in the United States can technically be automated in the next 20 years. If you want to be prepared, you need to know how this is going to change your industry structure, your competitive position, and your recession risks. Using your status quo as a baseline, we project scenarios of structural change in your economic region if automation potentials are realized – if you do nothing. Our automation report includes the structural analysis. If you have ordered our structural analysis during the last year, we will credit you fully for it.

Automation report $14,950

b. Which demographics are going to be most affected by automation? What policies need to be developed on the local level to mitigate the impact of automation for these groups? Our detailed automation by occupation and demographics report provides insights. Please contact us for details.

3) Who are my competitors, which ones have been successful, and how am I doing relative to them?

a. Our peer identification report finds economic regions in the US that are currently most similar to you in terms of industry structure. This tells you not only who your competitors are, but also whom to benchmark yourself against. We also find economic regions whose historical development matches closely with your current economy. You can use this information to find out how those regions have fared, what policies they adopted that made them successful or which events hurt them. This allows you to formulate the best possible strategy for your own region.

Peer identification and benchmarking $ 25,000
Update on peer identification (within 36 month of original order) $ 15,000

b. You would like to know more: What demographic structures do my competitors have, how are they set up strategically in terms of institutions, and what policies are they pursuing right now? Contact us, and we can help you find out.

4) Business attraction: A company is interested in settling in our region, but they are also considering three other regions. How can we convince them we are best for them?

a. Let us know the industry the company is in, and tell us whom you think they are also negotiating with. We will put together a detailed profile of your region and your competitors’ regions that highlights your strengths and weaknesses relative to your competitors so that you can play to your strengths, build an attraction package that compensates for your weaknesses and avoids pitfalls in the negotiations.
